About Me

Connor Smith is in his 5th year at The Pennsylvania State University studying Architectural Engineering. He will graduate in May 2019 with an Integrated Master and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis. He will also achieve Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) status upon graduation. Once graduated, Connor will begin his career as a design engineer with Leach Wallace Associates, Inc. in York, PA.

During his time at Penn State, Connor has had three internships within the building industry. Two of those internships were with general contractors: Benchmark Construction Company and James G. Davis Construction Corporation. There he had the opportunity to get involved in the construction process on site as well as in the office. His most recent internship allowed him to dive into HVAC and plumbing design with HGA - Architects and Engineers.

At Penn State, Connor is no stranger to extracurricular activities. He is currently involved as an Executive Board Member of the Penn State Chapters of ASHRAE and National Society of Leadership and Success. He also regularly competes in a variety of intramural sports and his team has won a championship in soccer and football.
